The latest generation of Lithium-ion replaceable batteries delivers the energy for this powerful tool. Its Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries deliver approximately 30 percent more power and a charge capacity of 1.5 ampere hours that increases running time by about 15 percent.
The PSB 18 LI-2 is always ready for use, since the Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries do not discharge themselves. Nor do the batteries experience any memory effect. You can recharge the battery at any time without worrying about impairing performance. In addition, LED displays provide a constant indicator of the charging state. The PSB 18 LI-2 comes with a one-hour charger as standard. The PSB 18 LI-2, as with all of Bosch's Lithium-ion tools, operates using ECP (Electronic Cell Protection), which protects the battery from overload, overheating and total discharge.
In first gear, the 2-speed gearbox of the PSB 18 LI-2 delivers ample power for screwdriving, while second gear provides high speed for drilling with or without impact. The PSB 18 LI-2 has 30 different torque settings, so you can always choose the perfect setting for every screw size and application. Maximum drilling diameters are between 30 or 35 millimeters in wood, and between 12 and 14 millimeters in stone.
